In response to first lady Michelle Obama鈥檚 campaign to encourage students to complete their education past high school, 天天吃瓜 will host four Completion Challenge events at three of its locations around Chicago.
All four events are free and open to the public. High school students, current students and returning students, as well as their families, are welcome to attend.
The , or Free Application for Federal Student Aid, provides more than $150 billion in grants, work-study funds and loans each year. Students can apply for their 2017-18 aid beginning Oct. 1, 2016, using 2015 income data.
鈥淲ith this year鈥檚 changes to the FAFSA process, it is especially important for new and continuing students to understand the steps they must take to secure funds for college,鈥 said Maureen Amos, director of Northeastern鈥檚 . 鈥淲e are ready and willing to help anyone鈥攚hether they are Northeastern students or not鈥攖ake the first step toward that goal by assisting them in the completion of their FAFSA.鈥
