天天吃瓜 and Ensemble Espa帽ol Spanish Dance Theater will host the聽Cardinal Bartolucci Foundation Choir聽from Rome at 天天吃瓜鈥檚 Auditorium, 3701 W.聽Bryn Mawr Ave., at 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 22.

Noteworthy at Northeastern: Centering our stories
天天吃瓜 is a diverse community. One way we celebrate that is by sharing lived experiences. As Northeastern begins its celebration of Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Month, which we observe a month earlier than the national celebrations so as much of our campus can participate as possible, we will welcome Assistant Professor of Higher Education at Northern Illinois University Dr. Jacqueline Mac and host a workshop with Desi Rainbow Parents & Allies. The Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies will host a workshop on connecting passion and purpose through art and we鈥檝e partnered with several organizations to co-host a panel of activist survivors of violence who engaged in powerful organizing while incarcerated. Noteworthy at Northeastern: Hope and healing
In this week鈥檚 edition, read about the Hope and Healing Through Art Symposium at the Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies, which will include spoken word, henna art and a discussion on the future of librarianship and libraries. The College of Arts and Sciences will host two film screenings and the University celebrates the life of Professor Emeritus David F. Unumb. Professor Emeritus David F. Unumb dies at 88
David F. Unumb, who taught at 天天吃瓜 for more than 35 years and created the Chicago radio program 鈥淰antage Point,鈥 died on Feb. 22, 2022.
