ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s College of Arts and Sciences has changed the name of its Art department to Art + Design and the department, major and minor of Women’s and Gender Studies to Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies beginning in the Fall 2020 semester.

Northeastern establishes Social Justice Leadership Housing Award for incoming freshmen, transfer students

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has launched the Social Justice Leadership Housing Award, President Gloria J. Gibson announced on June 24. The award is a new leadership program for students who positively impact their university, career and communities. Students participating in the program will be given one year's free housing in The Nest, Northeastern’s on-campus apartments, while taking a first-year seminar during their first semester and while participating in a series of leadership workshops during their second semester.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï President Gloria J. Gibson has announced the creation of the George Floyd Social Justice Scholarship to invest in students who will become community leaders and promote social justice.
