Dr. Shireen Roshanravan was named ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s first Executive Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and began serving the University in this capacity in July 2021.  

Professor of Political Science Sangmin Bae has been honored with ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s 2021 Bernard J. Brommel Distinguished Research Professor award.

Michael Abreu may be only a junior at ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï, but he has already accomplished a great feat. Abreu, a Computer Science major, was recently awarded the presented by the Illinois Technology Foundation.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï is one of five Illinois schools to partner in the establishment of the Metropolitan Chicago Data-science Corps (MCDC) to help meet the data science needs of the Chicago metropolitan area.
