Northeastern selected Middle Level Education major Lisa Sanders as its 2024 Lincoln Academy Student Laureate.

In May of 2014, Claudia Hernandez earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï. It was the first major step in realizing her lifelong goal of becoming a social worker—a goal born from tragedy.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï, in partnership with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) District 299, has been awarded a $40 million grant over seven years by the U.S. Department of Education to help at-risk students prepare for success in postsecondary education.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel challenged the city’s colleges of education to help improve the high schools in the beleaguered Chicago Public Schools school district. ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï answered that call.
