Employee Parking
Employee parking is available through the following method:
- Payroll Deduction

Payroll Deduction
Employees who elect to pay for parking through payroll deductions must complete a Vehicle Registration/Payroll Deduction form, available in the Office of Human Resources. Deductions will stay in force until separation from the University or cancellation by the employee.
Submit your completed form to the Office of Human Resources for processing.
*Employees may register a maximum of two vehicles.
Permits
Employees must receive registered Permits at the parking office. Employees can email Parking services (parking@neiu.edu) and schedule an appointment to do so. Or come during the parking offices availability hours.
Second Vehicle Registration
Employees who need to register a second vehicle to an existing or new parking permit must follow these steps:
- Email Parking Services with the second vehicle’s information.
- If the employee already submitted a payroll deduction form for their original permit, they must complete a second form for the additional vehicle.
- Human Resources must approve both forms before any permits are obtained or updates are made to the permit record.
- Parking Services will provide information and support throughout this process.

Direct Purchase Employee Parking Permits
Payment for a Direct Purchase permit is required in full at the time of purchase.
