The book, which was released April 15 and is available to read online, centers on the works of African writers, scholars, artists and activists and their pursuits for justice in various forms, namely environmental, social, intimate, and restorative.

天天吃瓜 is allowing Heartland Health Centers to utilize part of its Physical Education Complex to provide COVID-19 vaccinations for its current 27,000 patients, many of whom live on the North and Northwest sides of Chicago.

Nine 天天吃瓜 students presented their research at the Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (Illinois LSAMP) virtual spring symposium on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Eight students won awards for their poster presentations.

Noteworthy at Northeastern: Making college more accessible

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced on March 19 that starting in August 2021, all Illinois public universities will become part of the Common Application (Common App). Additionally, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation awarded a grant to the Prison + Neighborhood Arts/Education Project, and President Gibson issued a statement about the shootings in Atlanta, Georgia.
