Dr. Shireen Roshanravan was named ����Թ�’s first Executive Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and began serving the University in this capacity in July 2021.  

Professor of Political Science Sangmin Bae has been honored with ����Թ�’s 2021 Bernard J. Brommel Distinguished Research Professor award.

Michael Abreu may be only a junior at ����Թ�, but he has already accomplished a great feat. Abreu, a Computer Science major, was recently awarded the presented by the Illinois Technology Foundation.

����Թ� is one of five Illinois schools to partner in the establishment of the Metropolitan Chicago Data-science Corps (MCDC) to help meet the data science needs of the Chicago metropolitan area.

On Aug. 9, ����Թ� President Gloria J. Gibson issued a statement announcing that all Northeastern employees and students who will be on campus in the fall are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for the 2021-2022 academic year.
