The Title V IMPACTOS (Improving Multiple Pathways for Academic and Career Thriving of Students) Grant is a five-year initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education aimed at improving undergraduate services for Hispanic and other underrepresented, low-income undergraduate students. Our main goals are to enhance student success through social, emotional and academic support, and to strengthen pathways from enrollment to graduation and post-graduation success. IMPACTOS student awards are given to those who are participating in grant-sponsored internships or research projects that would otherwise be unpaid. We anticipate students who have additional incentives to commit to internships or research projects related to their interests will be more likely to graduate from Northeastern than they otherwise would have without such support. Other opportunities sponsored by the grant may include professional development events for students and faculty and providing assistance to administrative partners to more comprehensively identify current and former students who want to play a bigger role in Northeastern’s mission.

The IMPACTOS grant is funded by the U.S. Department of Education award no. P031S220142.
