Northeastern to offer tuition and fee waivers for Afghan refugees for the 2021-2022 academic year
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï will offer qualified Afghan refugees who settle in Chicago or nearby areas the opportunity to attend Northeastern through University-sponsored discretionary waivers that will cover the cost of tuition and fees for 12 credit hours in the current academic year. The initiative will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 15 continuing and prospective students.

After a thorough national search, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has named Dr. Terry Mena as its new Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students. He will start on Feb. 22.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï partners with Heartland Health Centers for COVID-19 vaccination site
ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï is allowing Heartland Health Centers to utilize part of its Physical Education Complex to provide COVID-19 vaccinations for its current 27,000 patients, many of whom live on the North and Northwest sides of Chicago.
